Manchester City are reportedly nearing the acquisition of Ayyoub Bouaddi, a midfielder from Lille. The 18-year-old Moroccan international garnered significant attention during the recent World Cup, where his performances for Morocco, particularly against Brazil, highlighted his potential. City are understood to be making substantial progress in discussions with both Lille and Bouaddi’s representatives.
Reports indicate that City are confident in securing the young talent, with an agreement on a contract running until 2031 already in place with Bouaddi. This move would see City outmanoeuvre other interested clubs, including Manchester United, who had also been monitoring the midfielder.
